Password generator
Strong passwords generated locally with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), using rejection sampling so every character is unbiased. Nothing is sent anywhere — the password never leaves this page.

Why generate in the browser?
A password is only secret if it is never transmitted. This generator draws from crypto.getRandomValues — the same cryptographically secure source used for encryption keys — and builds the password entirely on your device. The "entropy" figure is the base-2 logarithm of the number of possible passwords with your current settings; above about 75 bits is comfortably beyond brute force. A passphrase of several random words is often easier to remember at equivalent strength.
